What I Learned After a Week on YouTube

A week has passed since I started my Youtube channel, and boy, has it been a crazy week. Starting something new always has its challenges.

There’s quite a few things I’ve learned in the process that I wish I had known when I was just starting out a week ago.

I am sharing some tips below for those who are interested in starting their own youtube channels.

  1. Don’t Stress Over Views
    Youtube often pushes Shorts on the second or third day, so don’t panic if your video doesn’t take off immediately. If it still doesn’t perform, analyze it—look at the thumbnail, title, and content quality. Youtube may occasionally push shorts immediately, but this most likely will not always be the case.
  2. Learn from Others
    Watch creators in your niche. Pay attention to their thumbnails, titles, and video structure. Take inspiration and adapt it to your style.
  3. Rest if You Need To
    Feeling burnt out? Take a break. YouTube won’t penalize you for it, and rest helps you create better content.
