As I look ahead to 2025, I’ve been thinking about everything 2024 has brought my way. There are still a few days left. Now is a good time to pause and reflect.
What did I learn this year? How can those lessons guide me in the year to come?
2024 wasn’t perfect — no year ever is. It had its ups and downs, but there were also moments I’m proud of. Instead of getting stuck on what didn’t go right, I’m focusing on the progress I made.
What worked well? What habits or decisions made my life better?
That’s the energy I want to carry into 2025.
For me, 2025 isn’t about starting over completely. It’s about continuing what I’ve already started. I don’t need to make drastic changes to feel accomplished.
Building on the good things I’ve already done — whether it’s sticking to a habit, nurturing relationships, or continuing a project — is more realistic and reasonable.
I’m also keeping my goals small and actionable. I’ve learned that big resolutions with large expectations will lead hit harder when you fail.
In order to prevent this, I’m focusing on steps that feel manageable and align with what I value most. That way, I can make steady progress without burning out.
